Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to complete one of the MindPro programs of study before taking any of the exams?
Yes. The exams are correlated to the Six Sigma Management Institutes MindPro Learning System. You must use the MindPro Learning System to receive an official Six Sigma Program Qualification or Proficiency Certification. It is recommended that you complete the exams in parallel with your learning experience.

Do I have to purchase anything else?
No. Once you purchase your testing program, you will be given access to each of the module exams for that Six Sigma program. At the successful completion, you will receive a customized letter of completion, qualification or certification, depending on the program. 

What is the pass mark for each exam?
The topical exams associated with each training program require the following: 1) 50% minimum score to recognize successful program completion; 2) 70% minimum score to grant a Program Qualification status; and 3) 70% minimum score to grant a Proficiency Certification.

What if I fail an exam?
You will have THREE attempts at each of the exams (modules) included in the program that you have purchased. After three failed attempts, you will be required to purchase another program package.

After I purchase, do you send me a CD?
No, all of our content and exam taking process is online. Once you purchase your program, you can take your exams from any computer that has internet access.

Does your site keep track of my score?
Yes. You can open and review any of your exams in your exam history. This feature allows you to review your results by category.

Can I review the exams that I take?
Yes. Our site keeps track of every exam you take, the answers that you select, and the scores for each exam. It also gives you performance benchmarks and let's you know how you are doing in all areas.

Can I pause my exam, and come back to it later?
Yes. An exam can be paused at any time for later use. When you are ready to continue your exam, simply go into exam history, select your paused exam, and continue on.

Will I get a receipt for my purchase?
Yes, by visiting your order history in the Exam Center, you can access and print a receipt of your purchase. Immediately on purchase, you will also receive an e-mail with your purchase details.

How do I get help?
You can obtain help by using the support link on the menu, and sending a support request to us.

What happens if I forget my username or password?
If you cannot remember your login information, click HERE and we will send that information to you to the email address you signed up with.
